Release Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 was moved. The game will be developed by another studio
Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines 2 will not be released in 2021, as previously reported. The development will also be given to another studio and it is not yet known who will replace Hardsuit Labs. The new release date is unknown, but the project, as the company notes, is still in development.
We decided to postpone the release again, and now the game will not be released in 2021. It was also decided that Hardsuit Labs would no longer lead the development of Bloodlines 2. We started collaborating with a new studio to finish the game.
The transfer of the project was announced by the publisher Paradox Interactive. Pre-orders of the game have also been stopped — the feature has been available since 2019. Earlier it was reported about the dismissal of the lead screenwriter of the project, Brian Mitsoda. He was subsequently replaced by Samantha Wallschlager.
